We exist to partner with families in discipleship. Healthy families include strong marriages, confident parents, and empowered kids. In light of this, Family Ministries resources, encourages, and equips couples in marriage and parents or guardians, as disciple-makers in their home. We believe parents are the primary disciple-makers of their households, therefore age-specific classes and gatherings offered to empower kids and youth in their spiritual growth are supplemental to their discipleship at home.

Age-Specific Classes/Gatherings

Age-appropriate, gospel-centered classes are offered on Sunday mornings for kids ages birth through 5th grade. Student gatherings are held on Wednesdays at 6:30p for students in grades 6th through 12th.

Family Discipleship

We believe that parents/guardians are the primary disciple-makers of their homes. Bridgeway Family Ministries partners with parents by providing resources, encouragement, and equipping with these words in mind, “You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise” Deuteronomy 6:7.

One of the greatest responsibilities of a parent is to disciple their children to know, love, and follow Jesus. We approach family discipleship through the lens of four plumb lines. These short statements are the truths through which we want to commission parents to the task of discipleship in their homes. These are neither the final word nor an exhaustive list of parenting instructions, but these four little statements help us to answer the question, “What does it mean for parents to disciple their children?”

1. Parents are neither saviors nor sanctifiers.

2. Parents are pastors.

3. Parenting requires modeling.

4. Parents must keep the end in mind — to send.

Child Dedication a special time for parents to publicly commit to raising their children to know and love God, through the lens of the gospel of Jesus.

All participants (parents/caregivers) in Child Dedications must attend the Child Dedication Class at 9:00 am the week before. This class is specifically designed for parents of newborns, new adoptive and foster parents, and new believers with young children. The purpose is to encourage and equip you in the important covenant you make as parents, as well as explain our commitment to come alongside your family.
